Cindy grew up in Curacao, Colombia, Germany, and Texas. She was a traveler with wanderlust before she ever knew the definition of the word. As a second-generation travel advisor (her mom has been in the business for 25+ years), Cindy had the great fortune of traveling at an early age- learning about different cultures, trying new foods and experiencing great adventures with her family, friends and on solo trips. 

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in Art History & Public Relations, Cindy spent 15 years planning fundraising events for nonprofit organizations in Austin, TX and New York City, NY. But, she found her greatest joy came from planning her many trips abroad. In 2010, Cindy decided to make her passion for travel her career… it is the best decision she has ever made!

Beyond her love of travel, Cindy is a live music fan, enjoys cooking, gardening, exploring flea markets, and discovering the hidden gems and hotspots of Brooklyn, NY, where she currently lives. 

Cindy's ideal trip is one that mixes leisure with adventure. She appreciates the amenities of the world's great hotels, but always seeks out unique cultural experiences that can only be found off the beaten path.
